Glagolica - introduction

What is Glagolica and why we need it.

The Glagolica is one of common slavic languages. Other conceptions are: Slovo, Slovio, Praslov. Developers of all of these four languages knows each other and they coworks very often. Our goal is to create one common language, which will be strongly understable for all slavs. It must be so understable, that people which have never lerned it, will understand it. The second goal is that this language must be easy to lern for writting. So easy that all slavs writer would lern it quickly.
My opinion is that all conceptions must unificate their vocabulary. The differences may be only in grammars. Why I created my own language ? Because grammar of the Slovio is very easy, so easy that it sounds such nonslavs language. But I must say, that people understand Slovio very well. The Slovo has a grammar which is too complicated. And worst, it isn't complete. Praslov is very young conception and it hasn't grammar, not yet. I will appeal on other autors in order to unificate our vocabulary. And I hope that some of our grammars, or their mixture will a winner. And that we all will bring a new common slavic language.
What does mean the word Glagolica ? It was some :-) years ago, when two men brings a first Slavs language to my country. Their name was Cyril and Metud. Their language was called the Hlaholice and the writting was called as Cyrilice. Their brought no only codificated Slavs language to my country, but a christian relligion, too. This changed not only a history of my country, but the history of the whole world, too. Because I believe that Cyrilo-Metuds tradion was biggest factor which started religious   reformation in the Czech kingdom in the 15ct. This reformation was exploded into whole world later. I celebrate them, the Cyril and Metud. Becouse they lerned my nation to the right christianity. And as my thanking for their work, I am calling my language as Glagolica.

Why we need Glagolica ? Because history shows us, that we need slavs mutuality. That it is a fundamental requirement for our political and economical sovereignty and prosperity. I am not fighter for panslavismus (one big slavs nation), but I am for slavs mutuality and cooperation. And common language will support it.
Can you image how can common language support an e-comerce for example ? I am experienced webmaster and marketing expert for american internet and I say you: the national internets such as France, German, Czech, Polish, Slovene will have never on the same level such as nowadays USA internet. Only Russian has this chance, but it is in very distance future. I believe, that if we will have a common slavs language and slavs internet, that this inet will have this chance, too.

How was Glagolica developed.

I developed my grammar from proto-slavic grammar, which was published on the net by Cyril Babaev. This common slavs grammar is very distanced from our modern languages, so I had to make many changes. For example there was a dual, aorist, imperfectum etc. These staff was in our old languages. I know that only a Lusathian sorbs has these forms in their modern language. In other modern slavs languages we have only fragments of these futures, for example a dual has remains in declension of numeral "two". And poetists uses these archaic forms for creating new words and unusual words conjugation in their sentences. I had to change the endings in denclensions, rebuild verbs and pronouns etc. Look on Babaev's site and compare his grammar with my if do you want. I think so, that they are very different, but they has a common features.
Comparative linquistics, such as Cyril Babaev and other doing this, that they compare all modern languages and their older forms which are knowns. And on this basis they are reconstructing old common languages for each language group. Such as Slavic,   Balto-Slavic or Indo-European group. Slavic group is subgroup of the Balto-Slavic and it is subgroup of the Indo-europen g. On these principles they are reconstructing the grammars on one side, and a vocabulary on other. By the same way such in grammar, I used their develop in vocabulary too.
I collected my vocabulary so that I changed the proto-slavic words which was reconstructed by comparative lingquistics. I used this source. The changes was necessary, because proto-slavic words are very hard to understand. I used the same system in each word. For example bi in the begining of the word was changed by be. The ü at the and of words was let out etc. And I used a rule that don't took over these words, which aren't understable for me. Because I think so, that they won't be understable for other west slavs too.
My second sources was "working databeses" of the Slovo and Slovio developers groups. The Slovo group is doing the same what a comparative linquists do. So, my vocabulary is very like to their.

How lern it

If you want only to read in Glagolica. My aim was that you mustn't lern anything. But you can read a grammar for a better understanding of Glagolica's texts.

The writing in the Glagolica isn't so hard as it seems to be. I hope that the grammar is like to all slavic grammars, and is easier then they are. For example Glagolica hasn't animaty and inanimaty. What do you need to write in Glagolica is only to print Apendixies. I created them for you (and for me too :-). There are useful tables with declensions etc. Have this printed tables by the hand.
Read a grammar lessons. I hope that you only read it once and you will understand. Because these staff are the same in all Slavs languages. You mustn't lern anything, because you have the tables. You only need to know how use them. Then use my online vocabulary, your printed tables, your knowledge of Glagolica grammar and write. The vocabulary of the Glagolica was created so, that there may be lot of words which are used very often. I indexed whole Karel Czapek's doing plus some sci-fi novels in order to get frequency list of the Czech langugae. Then I had ordered list of words by their frequency and created one Glagolica's word by other.
If you don't find some word, then write it in your native language and close it into [ ]. For example, image that the word wolk which means a wolf isn't in vocabulary, and that in your language it is vlk. Then you can write: Moj brat ima [vlka]. (My brother has a wolf.)
